I do kinda wish we had less bland mainstream music. But that’s just the culture in general. There’s no counter cultures like punk or glam rock or hippies. But there’s still loads of cool bands and artists out there. If you claim there’s nothing them you haven’t looked hard enough. I used to be one of those kids and hating your own generation doesn’t make you ‘cool’. It always makes me sad to see old men replying to comments like these congratulating them for loathing people their own age.
